About

Since 1999, I have been working at the William & Anita Newman Library at Baruch College (New York, NY). From 2000 to 2011, I was an information services librarian. In 2011, I moved over to the collection management division and became a user experience librarian. I’m interested in information literacy, usability, user experience, open access, copyright reform, and digital reference.

I blog primarily at Beating the Bounds and increasingly less often at Digital Reference. I also blog fairly often at a few other places.

I’m usually in plowing through blog posts in my Feedly 5-6 times a day, keeping up with my subscriptions. When something catches my eye, I try to extract interesting quotes and share them on my¬†commonplace book on Tumblr.
